At Kehillah Living, we believe that independent living is more than just a place to stay—it is a refuge for community and grace. Kehillah (ke·hil·lah), a Hebrew word for community, is what we set out to create. A supportive community to help those around us live, grow, and heal. Our network of trusted partners is growing, giving our residents access to real care and resources. Our story begins with a vision to become a trusted leader in residential community living by building a network of supportive homes that enhance quality of life.
It is our prayer that each individual that crosses our path not only find a home but find the confidence they need to live out the next phase in life. Starting with a place to live.

Jasmine Thomas
Founder/Housing Director
Jasmine, a dedicated native of Washington, D.C., has spent the last eight years of her professional career in the nonprofit sector, supporting organizations in their missions and service to the community. Driven by a strong sense of purpose and guided by her faith in God, she founded Kehillah Living to create affordable community living.
Additionally, she leads Galatians Homeless Ministries, a nonprofit organization based in Durham, NC, focused on aiding individuals and families experiencing homelessness and establishing affordable family living communities.
Jasmine approaches her work with compassion and unwavering faith, ensuring that every resident receives the grace and professional care they deserve.
